Playing Country Club... Ahh this is the life!

It was a beautiful day outside on Sunday ... the sun was shining... mom and dad were outside working in the garden..

(ok so this isn't their actual garden... but mom's is really pretty too when it's in bloom)

WELCOME TO CLUB MERCI

Where only the most spoiled dogs get their bed brought outside to lounge in the sun. And don't forget the ice in the water!! Oh yes, my mom thinks of everything!! I was even so lazy that she moved the water bowl just close enough so I could just lay their and lap it up! Ahhhhh this is the life!!The only thing missing was my cabana boys... Must have to talk to mom about that!

Here I am taking a bit of a siesta. Dreaming of dog treats (cause I can't have any right now because my tummy is still healing those nasty ulcers)
Laying around and lapping water is hard work... Mom gave me about 15 minutes and then I had to roll over... didn't want to get any lines from my harness (mom is silly sometimes)! I heard there was a pool somewhere too but she said it needs to get warmer outside first....

Sweet Merci,

It makes us smile to see you lounge in the sun. Neither Jake nor I can ever get too many sunrays ... our favorite thing to do is rest on the warm wood deck. A big switch from our life before, huh?!

It's true ... our friend Asta drew attention to the horrors of puppy mills today on her blog ... she's been thinking thoughts and that always leads to action with Asta and her mommy.

Soak up the rays Merci, and let that tummy heal.

Love,
Jake and MIss Fergi

Hi Merci,

Asta told me about you so I wanted to come and say hi. I love to lounge in the sun, too. Summer is my favorite time of year.

Take care, my friend.

Hey Merci,
You need your own pawsonal sun umbrella like we have too. We luv to be out on the deck or out by the Fish Shack. Mama even has the doggy sunscreen that she puts on our noses. We hope your tummy will be better soon. Poor Snickers got sick last night, barfed the whole night. She's much better today though. Hope you have a nice weekend!
Luv & Wirey Hugs,

Sweet Merci!

Asta told me about you and I had to come by to say hi. Your club looks very inviting. I'd be one of your cabana boys just to get in.

I hope you heal up soon. I'm sending you some healing goober smooches to help! My sissy Stella was a puppy mill rescue (she's a Lakeland Terrier), but she and her brothers were still wee pups when they were found. We already have a special place in our hearts for a girlie like you!

Goober love,
Stanley
